John Updike has never been on my radar of books I’d like to (or should) read. I suppose I’m like many people today who, upon hearing the news of his death, are thinking maybe now I should get around to reading a book by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author. If anyone would recommend one over another, I’d welcome the suggestion.

Start with “Rabbit, Run” (see if all the fuss is worth it), and, if it is, try “In the Beauty of Lilies.”
I read all of the “Rabbit” books and I must have enjoyed them because-duh-I read all of them. At one point, he was my favorite writer. His descriptions are incredible.
RAJA and I both read “S” and liked it, though the critics trashed it.
