A must read for anyone who loved 84 Charring Cross Road.  This is the latest from the woman whose correspondence with a British bookseller over three decades inspired the book and the movie. With the success of Charring Cross Road, a British publication asked Hanff if she would contribute a series of articles about what it’s like to live in New York City. Letter From New York is a compilation of these “letters,” describing the city in a way only Hanff could.
