Dorothy Allison (1992)
This is a fantastic book. I really felt as if I knew these people and had spent time in their world. A very heart-wrenching, and at times somewhat depressing, story of a young girl trying to survive in the “white trash” back hills of the South. Her extended family is made up of an interesting cast of characters who simultaneously protect and threaten her.

I think this was a great book. I mean this is about a mother and a daughter relationship that i sloving and caring. it gets destroyed when Daddy Glen comes into the picture. How could he do that to Bone? he is such a sick individual.
