Review: Blackburn

Bradley Denton  (1993)

Traces the life of a serial killer, effectively interweaving the past with the present, showing how his childhood affected later events. Even though it sounds like a made-for-TV movie, the writing is well done, focusing on the psychological, rather than the graphic, details. This book was a worthwhile surprise I happened upon one day while wandering in the library.
