A Light in August

William Faulkner (1932)

Interesting style, which after hearing so much about for years, was not as daunting as I thought it would be. I didn’t love it, but would definitely read more by Faulkner. I’d be interested in taking a Faulkner class (say at the Newberry Library) to enhance my reading. Definitely felt like I missed some of the symbolism and deeper meaning.
