Review: The Lovely Bones

Alice Siebold (2002)

You can’t go into a bookstore these days without tripping over stacks of this book. Don’t let the hype turn you off–this is a moving and powerful book. Read it (before they make it into a movie, which they are) and while you read it, wonder to yourself “How the heck will they turn this into a movie?” But hey, if they can create a winning script from Michael Cunningham’s The Hours, anything is possible.

  1. I was wondering myself how they will make this into a movie…I hope it’s not a disappointment! šŸ™‚

  2. This book was so amazing, and i think it will be nearly impossible to capture this unique and touching story. However, i am anxiously waiting to see how this movie will stack up. Cross your fingers!

  3. I love this book. I think the writing was brilliant, and the story captivating. I look forward to her next release.
