Learned this morning that the bright flash I saw outside my window last night after midnight wasn’t lightening, as I’d thought, but a meteorite the size of a small car breaking through the earth’s atmosphere and landing in a nearby suburb!! Wow, pretty damn cool.
Pictures on the internet of people holding remains of the meteor. “Put that down! You don’t know where it’s been!” Sheeze, people.
