I gave it a good shot, but after 100 pages I bailed out on this book. I’m just not enjoying it and life is too short (and there are far too many other books that I want to read) for me to plow on through a book I’m not enjoying.
One of the best things about being in a book club is that you’re exposed to different kinds of books, that you ordinarily wouldn’t read. I’ve discovered some great authors that way. Doesn’t always work, of course. Case in point.
