Film Review: Phone Booth

2002, USA, Joel Schumacher

B00005JLQN.01.TZZZZZZZ.jpgThe rumors you’ve heard about this one are correct–it’s an interesting premise, good up to a point, and then about half-way through, this call gets fairly ridiculous, implausible and just peters out into nothing.  And when the reason the mysterious phone caller has selected Colin Farrell as his next target pans out, (ALSO into nothing,) it’s just plain silly.  Kieffer gets extra points for giving good phone voice as the caller who won’t be ignored.

Here’s the Gist:
Hang up the phone Kiefer, this call’s not worthy of you. [*]
