Probably the third time I’ve seen this movie. I think Meryl and Shirley are great in it together. Filled with Hollywood cameos while at the same time ribbing that very community. The script is by Carrie Fisher, based on her semi-autobiographical book. You can almost see Debbie Reynolds seeping through Shirley MacLaine’s portrayal.
