Joan Plowright (2001)
The Sunday Times (a UK newspaper) called this book “A riveting Autobiography.” I’d say only if you’re fascinated by the backstage politics of a regional theatre company. Pretty ho-hum overall. Not that I was looking for a juicy tell-all book (it’s Joan Plowright, after all) but there just wasn’t that much to it.
Here’s the Gist: Very British and not very riveting. [*]
