Last time fellow birder and blog buddy Ellen took a trip to Chicago, I pointed her to the Magic Hedge on the lakefront for great birding. She’s venturing north again this summer and inquired about other venues for birding in the city. Mayor Daley must have heard her.
Take note birders, Mayor Daley added another feather (ha ha) to his city beautiful cap earlier this week when he announced the publication of the Chicago Region Birding Trail Guide. Created by the city in conjunction with numerous local birding organizations, the free publication is available at visitor centers and on the web.
Thank-you! I haven’t been been surfing too much. Glad to have the link.
