Review: Wire In the Blood: Justice Painted Blind (2002)

If you want to laugh while watching a quirky, slightly nutty detective’s sidekick solve the crime, watch Monk (season one and two only!) If, on the other hand, you want your stories darker and more intense, catch this series instead.

BBC TV heart throb Robson Green is fantastic as Dr. Tony Hill, a criminal psychologist who’s a bit odd in his own right. Working with the police to get into the minds of killers and victims, his personality is just eccentric enough that you can’t predict what he’s going to say or do next–or where the story will lead.

The chemistry between Tony and detective inspector Carol Jordon makes for an interesting subplot running throughout the Wire in the Blood series as their relationship deepens into something more than just a professional partnership.
