Since this happened?
One year of the Bush presidency feels like four already.
November 2, 2004 was a day of shock and awe. I immediately went into the Five Stages of Grief: Denial (“Noooooo! Recount! Recount!”) into Anger (“This country sucks and deserves everything it’s asked for!”) into Bargaining (“Well, at least he can’t run again…It’s only four more years…”) and quickly into Depression (“So much damage can be done in four years.”)
I don’t think I’ll ever get to the final stage of grief–Acceptance. Nope, not gonna happen.

This is becoming a very common occurrance…Shock and awe that it has only been ONE year of this presidency! A friend and I were talking a couple of weeks ago and we were saying how it would just be about another two years before the next election. Then we looked at each other and realized,no, no, it’s only been a year!!
