My streak has been broken.
Alas, it was bound to happen. For the first time (in I’m guessing 13 games) I witnessed my first loss by the Cubs. And if they were to break my personal winning streak, they might as well have done it in style, which they did, getting pounded 15-4 with one home run after another, including a grand slam by the Diamondbacks.
Oh well, we still had fun sweltering in the stands. Hot weather, baseball and beer. Hot times. Summer in the city.

At 43 and 62, and 15.5 games out of first, I’m surprised that your streak lasted as long as it did.
