As I type this, Jenny is hooking up for her sixth and final chemo treatment! I’m not there because I’ve unfortunately come down with another cold. The last thing a room full of people with suppressed immunity needs is this cold that’s been going around (and around in my case.) Karen is with Jen and later today a group of us will gather to celebrate the milestone.
It’s been a long six months and though her treatment’s not over yet (she’ll have radiation treatments for the first five weeks of 2007) we’re very glad to close out the year with the last of her chemotherapy.
Good news. My sister had the fourth of six chemo treatments yesterday. This is her third round of treatments since July. She hates it but the CAT scans say that she’s getting better.
WOO-HOO!! Give her my best!!!
This is fantastic news, from both you and Mike! Yayy!!! And Happy New Year too 🙂
