Review: I Love You Again (1940)

While aboard an ocean liner, dull tightwad Larry Wilson wakes up from amnesia to discover he’s really a con man named George Carey. When he learns that Larry has a fat bank account, George decides to impersonate his former self long enough to clean up and clear out. That is until he spies Larry’s soon-to-be ex-wife (Myrna Loy) on the dock waving divorce papers at him. Suddenly Larry’s life doesn’t look so dull and boring. A wonderful romantic comedy with many sweet, hilarious moments. Supporting player Frank McHugh is a standout as George’s accomplice. [**** out of 4]
