I’m currently searching for an email marketing service to use (not for this site, but for another project) for sending out email newsletters. Constant Contact, Intellicontact, Benchmark, Vertical Response and on and on and on. One seems just about as good as another. In cases like this, rather than rely on a bunch of marketing mumbo jumbo, I prefer to get personal recommendations.
Anyone out there use an email service for sending updates and newsletters? Any suggestions or horror stories will be appreciated!

We use Constant Contact and have used them for several years and have been very happy with the service. So much so we have built some very rewarding services on top of their platform that we offer as added-value services. I have used most of the email newsletter services out there and all have their different strengths and weaknesses. Constant Contact always rises to the top as the most robust and user friendly of the bunch. There’s a reason that they are the industry leader.
