Today we took Rick’s boat from Wilmette Harbor down to Chicago, through the lock, and up the Chicago River to the dry dock. An amazing trip. The weather was perfect (80s in October!) and the view of the city from the lake and the river was fantastic, going under the bridges and passing along tall skyscrapers that back right up to the river. I have yet to weed through my many photos but here’s one in the meantime.
