I completely forgot to blog about my tasty new cocktail find. This past Leap Year we celebrated with a new cocktail, appropriately named the Leap Year. Similar to a cosmopolitan, but thankfully not as sweet, this is a keeper libation that will be making more than a once-every-four-years appearance at future gatherings. It’s a gorgeous color too.
2 oz gin
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1/2 oz Grand Marnier
1 dash fresh lemon juice
Shake with ice and strain into a stemmed cocktail glass. A twist of lemon peel on top.
