Nuclear Energy by Henry Moore
University of Chicago
As many times as I have walked around the U of C campus, I’d never seen the statue marking the spot of the birth of nuclear energy (aka, the bomb) until a few weeks ago.
Getting half as much done in twice the time.
That statue is on the site of the west stands of Stagg Field, where they actually played football and had a great team, long before I ever went there. I had a science class in the stands and we used to tease each other about radiation. I guess, since I’ve made it to almost 74, no harm was done.
