It’s been -3F pretty much all day. Right now, it’s -1 and the windchill is -15. Sorry to talk so much about the weather, but, well, it’s pretty damn cold.
Spent the day inside keeping warm and doing Christmasy things: Finished up the last batch of holiday cards and started knitting a scarf for a gift. Friends came over to spread holiday cheer and I roasted up a batch of root vegetables from this week’s organic farm box. Kept a roaring fire going all day.
And tomorrow, we begin the upward climb to spring, gaining a little bit more sunshine every day. Happy winter solstice all!
