All year long we’ve been setting stuff aside to sell at our annual yard sale. This evening we hauled it all up from the basement, sorting and pricing most of it to sell fast. Every year, the neighbors get together on Father’s Day weekend to hawk our wares on the sidewalk out front, timed to coincide with the neighborhood street fair. I don’t expect to make nearly the killing we did the first year, but it’s a good way to recycle stuff, make a little extra cash, and socialize with the neighbors.
