Three years after we first began our main floor remodeling project (and two years after we gave up looking for just the right paint color), we’re finally having the painting done. For the next week, everything is wrapped in plastic and covered in paper, from the kitchen through the living room and all the way up the stairs to the second floor hallway.
Our painter threw in an hour of free color consultation, which is all we needed to come up with a color scheme–tree moss (a sagey green) and Delaware putty (a tannish brown)–and in a week, the dull whitish-gray walls I’ve been living with (and hating) for eleven years will finally be a thing of the past.
