Put the bacon on a plate, in between a couple layers of paper towel (I use two on the bottom and at least one on the top). Cook for a minute per slice; you might need to extend cooking time if you are doing more than three slices, say.
It’s a nice way to cook just a little bacon, but I wouldn’t recommend it for feeding a crowd.

Good to know, Alison. I just hit the bacon button on the microwave and it turned into the incredible shrinking bacon, as you can see.
Huh. A bacon button. Who knew?
I should have known it wouldn’t work. The coffee button positively boils the liquid.
Our nuker must be older than yours. We don’t have bacon or coffee buttons. Just rice and vegetables and the like.
