Tuesday morning, JD and I took a rather spontaneous trip to the Chicago Botanic Garden to check out the really big pumpkins. They were really big. JD is standing behind the far one.
Then we took a walk over to Spider Island, which seemed seasonally appropriate. In the mazillions of times that I've been to the CBG, I don't think I've ever been on this little island. It was a short but very pretty walk along the water, though a bit of a disappointment for a little girl hoping to see lots of little creatures.
