A steady weather stream off Lake Michigan dumped 10-ish inches of lake effect snow on us over night. Lovely light snow. The spirea in the backyard nearly disappeared, a good indicator that we have at least a foot and a half of snow piled up back there, drifts are even higher.

And we’re still just in December.
