I spent Venetian Night on the boat, sleeping outdoors, waking up with the sun (and the squawking geese on the breakwater by Shedd Aquarium.) Almost ten hours after getting back on terra firma, I still feel like I’m bobbing around on the lake.
I’m also dead tired, so details and photos from the weekend will have to wait. I’m off to bed. This nanny needs her rest; she just learned a sick child awaits her tomorrow. Sigh.
